She has twenty years of experience as a professional in the field of human resource services in hospitality, banking, healthcare, insurance, scientific engineering and the manufacturing business. She has earned the Senior Professional in Human Resources designation and was recognized as the North Carolina Human Resource Professional of the Year in 1998. Cathy C. Allen SPHR, Human Resource Consultant
 Cathy Allen has over 20 years experience in human resource management with small, large, corporate and manufacturing facilities.

In addition to providing human resource consulting for various clients, Cathy has worked as the Human Resource Director for a small company where she developed the Human Resource function from the ground up. Prior to this position, Cathy served as the Corporate Human Resource Manager for a large manufacturing company’s corporate headquarters. Concurrent with this position, she handled affirmative actions plans as well as investigated and responded to all charges of discrimination, sexual harassment and other civil rights charges for this 6,000 employee corporation.

Cathy previously served on the Board for the Human Resource Management Association in Greensboro. She is a graduate of Appalachian State University and attends at least two conferences each year to stay abreast of current HR issues.
