INDEPENDENT INSURANCE AGENTS OF NC NAMED LARRY ROLAND 2003 AGENT OF THE YEAR

The Independent Insurance Agents of North Carolina (IIANC) is pleased to announce that Larry Roland, CIC, CPCU, ARM has been named as IIANC's Agent of the Year. Selected annually, this award recognizes the North Carolina agent who has demonstrated commitment and performance for his/her agency, association, industry, community and family. Roland, a past president of IIANC, has held a number of posts within the insurance industry. Roland has served on numerous IIANC committees and has been instrumental in the direction of the Association. A veteran of the insurance industry, Roland is from Senn Dunn Marsh & Roland in Greensboro.

"Being involved with IIANC has provided me with incredible opportunities and invaluable professional development," stated Roland. "The other agents have been supportive, encouraging and just plain fun to work with. I leave every IIANC event feeling like I am ready to take on the world," continued Roland.

Roland, a native of Greensboro, NC, is a graduate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

The award was presented to Roland during IIANC's Annual Conference. The Conference was held September 14-17, 2003 at the Westin Resort in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

The Independent Insurance Agents of North Carolina (IIANC) is a professional trade association representing independent insurance agencies from across the state. The mission of IIANC is to be an advocate for independent insurance agents and to satisfy the business and professional needs of its members.
